WV Mug (Charlie)
This is one of two mugs honoring Charlie, my first pottery dog. From the moment I found him as a puppy by the side of a lonely, winding country road, he was my soulmate and constant companion in the studio. I was lucky to have him for more than 14 years. Just like my big, handsome brown boy, these mugs are a deep chocolate with gold highlights. The WV is blue to remember his puppy eyes...and then his senior eyes, colored by cataracts but still so very kind. I love all the dogs...but there was just something special about my Charlie baby, and I hope these mugs convey that.
